The J. Grimm Home Story - Come Feel the Joy

Founded in 1978, entrepreneur Janet Grimm realized her dream of helping families find affordable housing. Borrowing money from her late uncle, she and her daughter Lynn refurbished two singlewides. Eventually, they were sold, transported to the buyer’s property, and set up. Quickly paying back her debt to Uncle Ray, Janet Grimm realized this was a platform on which to build.

Janet secured all business licenses, and formed J. Grimm Homes, a manufactured & modular housing dealership. She bought property and established her business location on Route 51 in Darlington, PA. This ground-up operation began with a heartfelt vision of providing affordable housing, backed by an honest work ethic.

Among her blessings is the joy of having her children Johnny Grimm, Lynn Grimm, and Terri Beaumont working alongside her. Together, they contribute to the casual atmosphere of the family-owned and operated dealership. Additionally, she is grateful for the love and support of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also grateful for the same, and more from her friends, dedicated employees, contractors, bankers, and other affiliates.
